About

My Work

Genie Z. Laborde is an author, educator, video producer, and artist. She is the founder and CEO of International Dialogue Education Associates, Inc., a business seminar company based in Palo Alto, California. She has authored several business communication and negotiation books, designed the three-day business seminar “Influencing with Integrity”, and created the "3 Minute Steps to Influencing with Integrity" app. 

My Goal

My goal is to train everyone in the world to become better communicators, negotiators, and influencers. To help people maximize their verbal and non-verbal skills, achieve mastery of their interpersonal relationships, and optimize business outcomes.

Our Mission

Our mission is to partner with industry, institutions and organizations across the globe to improve productivity, creativity, efficiency, motivation, and satisfaction through Syntonics training.

Sensory Acuity:

  • Understand what the tone, tempo, and volume of voice means
  • Use sensory based words to get better clarity
  • Determine the perceptual preference of others (visual, auditory, or kinesthetic)
  • How to look for eye movements, breathing, and other gestures, and what they signify
  • How to organize responses into patterns

Rapport:

  • How to build rapport
  • Recognize when you do and don't have rapport
  • How to regain lost rapport quickly
  • Lead others to a state of excellence with rapport and the right questions

Beliefs/Views:

  • Put yourself in the shoes of others
  • How to elicit the major beliefs in others
  • How to avoid any direct clashes with your major beliefs
